Volumiscope is a 7k intro released at Riverwash 2015 and ranked 1st in combined 4k/64k intro category.
For this particular intro, I'm again back to old raytracing techniques, so my intro tool didn't do much work here, except for sequencing and camera path control. I did both the antic scenery and the main object a long time ago (5 years or so!), but I never used them anywhere, so it's high time they found their way to a proper intro.
I also gave a shot at implementing some of the rules of the Physically Based Rendering, which I think gave the intro a bit more realistic look.
And no more trying to mak guitar music in a intro format. Which doesn't immediately result in the music being good, that is.
